Back-End Developer

Handle critical deliverables and take direct ownership of multiple architecture verification programs required for the development of mainframe systems.

Responsibilities

• Work as a technical focal point in the CPU architecture domain and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical blockages and design bottlenecks in CPU architecture verification programs.
• Expand the scope of test programs by designing optimized algorithms and ensure resource efficiency for reuse in next-generation architecture programs.
• Act as squad leader during the product bring-up cycle, providing hands-on skills, planning, and technical direction.
• Debug high-severity field issues related to software, firmware, and hardware.
• Mentor junior engineers and programmers on the development of next-generation mainframe systems, determine project requirements, and develop work schedules for junior staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Programming, Computer Science, or a related field (or a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree).
• One year of experience as a Hardware Developer or related role.
• Experience must include:
  • Assembler Programming
  • Software/Firmware Programming in C/C++
  • Python, Shell scripting
  • GitHub
  • Visual Studio Code

Pay

$168,459 to $193,459 per year.
