BA Level Intern
About the role
JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. In this position, you will support this mission by conveying your passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Support services in the communities where the people we serve live, utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices.
- Collaborate with the people we work with in a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.
- Grow your clinical skills in the community and client homes by using new clinical interventions to support youth in a social and educational setting.
- Explore your clinical knowledge through the use of evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.
Qualifications
- Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree or above in the mental health, social work, or human service field.
- Interest in working with children/adolescents is required, and familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
