BA Level Intern

About the role

JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community.

Responsibilities

• Support the mission of helping children and their families by providing services in the communities where they live.
• Utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices in collaboration with the people we work with, using a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and evidence-based practices.
• Grow your clinical skills in the community and client homes by learning and applying new clinical interventions to support youth in a social and educational setting.
• Explore your clinical knowledge through the use of evidence-based modalities.
• Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records.
• Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree or above in the mental health, social work, or human service field.
• Interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma-informed models of treatment is preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
