(B2C) Immigration Associate – All Levels (EB-1, EB-2 NIW/O-1)
About the role
As a Manifest Attorney, you guide clients through one of the most important decisions of their lives and carry matters forward to the outcome they need. Depending on your strengths, interests, and experience level, that may mean leaning more into strategic consulting — advising prospective clients, assessing case strength, and recommending the right path forward — or case management (production) — owning a matter from handoff through final submission, building the legal strategy, and managing every milestone. Most attorneys do some of both, and we'll work with you on where you're strongest.
- Own individual immigration matters — EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A — from handoff through final submission: building the legal strategy, managing every milestone, and keeping clients informed without their having to chase you.
- Manage the paralegals in your pod on document collection, organization, and filing logistics so your time stays on strategy and outcomes.
- Use Manifest's AI tools and technology to support case quality and efficiency — not as a shortcut, but as a genuine performance multiplier.
- Partner closely with the paralegals and attorneys in your pod so every handoff stays seamless, and uphold Manifest's standards for legal quality, ethics, and client care throughout.
Requirements
- J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
- Strong working knowledge of extraordinary-ability and high-skilled categories, including EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A — whether that shows up in how you assess a case or how you build and file it
- Clear, confident communication: you explain complex legal concepts in plain language and make clients feel supported
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy — you document thoroughly and hand off cleanly
- Comfort in a high-cadence environment with real volume expectations
Experience Levels
Where you spend more of your time — case management (production), some strategic consulting, or a mix of both — depends on your strengths, your preference, and the firm's current needs.
- Associate (Yrs 0–3)
Focus: Strong legal research and writing, genuine interest in immigration law, high responsiveness, and the ambition to ramp fast. Experience preparing extraordinary-ability and high-skilled petitions (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A). - Mid-Senior Level Associate (Yrs 4–7)
Focus: Hands-on high volume experience preparing extraordinary-ability and high-skilled petitions (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A), comfort with direct client communication, and the drive to own your matters. - Sr. Associate (Yrs 8+)
Focus: Deep expertise in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled petition strategy, the ability to mentor junior attorneys, and the ambition to grow toward practice leadership, not just maintain a steady docket.
Why Join Manifest
- Higher-agency work | Intake, document collection, status tracking, and client updates run through Manifest OS — the administrative weight of practice, handled. Your day goes to strategy, drafting, and the client: the work that actually requires a lawyer.
- No billable hour | We charge clients flat fees, so there's no timekeeping requirement and no billable target. Your work is judged on outcomes — what gets filed and how clients experience the relationship — not hours recorded.
- Remote by design | The entire legal side of the firm works remotely. It's how the firm was built, and there are no plans to change it — practice from wherever you do your best work.
- Real upside | Pay is competitive from day one, with incentives tied to client outcomes and firm performance, so strong work is rewarded as the practice grows.
- Ground floor | Manifest is an ambitious firm building the infrastructure to last — and to change the way law firms operate. Attorneys who join now grow with it: into senior roles, into leadership, into shaping what the practice becomes next.
- Your experience shapes the practice | Attorney feedback and firsthand case experience directly inform what the firm builds next, so the technology keeps evolving around how the best lawyers actually work.
Who Thrives Here
We are not looking for case processors or attorneys waiting for the next rung. We're looking for attorneys who lead through expertise, treat Manifest's technology as a genuine performance multiplier rather than a shortcut, and want to do the most meaningful work of their careers at a firm built for how law should actually work. The attorneys who thrive here are full-time, deeply client-centered, tech-forward, and mission-driven — energized by building something real, not just joining something finished.

AI in Recruiting
Manifest uses AI-powered tools to support administrative aspects of our recruitment process, such as organizing applications and surfacing candidate information for review. Some interviews may also be recorded and transcribed using an AI note-taking tool, used solely to support accurate note-taking — it does not score, analyze, or evaluate candidates in any way. These tools do not make hiring decisions, and no candidate is advanced, screened out, or otherwise dispositioned without review by a member of our human recruiting team. You are welcome to ask any interviewer for a non-recorded conversation instead.
