About the role

Ayoroa Simmons is a leading reality capture and BIM firm in the Eastern United States, serving clients including major AEC organizations and the U.S. Department of Defense. We offer comprehensive surveying, laser scanning, Scan to BIM, and BIM/VDC services, and are expanding our reach to meet the needs of demanding clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a targeted prospect list across the Eastern U.S., focusing on AEC firms, developers, building owners, general contractors, MEP engineers, historic preservation firms, and institutional facilities teams.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone, educating and selling to potential clients.
  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls with our project and technical teams.
  • Track pipeline signals such as permit filings, project announcements, RFP activity, and industry news.
  • Maintain CRM records and provide weekly pipeline reports.
  • Continuously test and refine outreach strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B lead generation, business development, or sales experience.
  • Background in AEC, construction technology, geospatial, or surveying.
  • Strong ability to communicate with technical buyers and build relationships with non-technical decision-makers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and organized, able to work independently without daily supervision.
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn outreach and CRM tools.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of BIM, point cloud, LiDAR, laser scanning, or digital twin workflows.
  • Existing network of contacts at AEC firms, developers, or institutional owners in the Eastern U.S.
  • Experience using tools like Dodge Construction Network or BuildingConnected to identify project pipeline opportunities.

  • Technical understanding of AEC and construction processes.
  • CRM and email marketing proficiency.
  • Ability to adapt and refine strategies based on feedback.
