B2B Brand Narrative Strategist
HAUS is the world's first integrated public relations and creative services agency purpose built for deep tech startups and scaleups. In January 2022, we set out on a mission to accelerate the adoption of technologies that maximize freedom, material abundance, and human flourishing. Since then, we've had the opportunity to support more than 100 startups, scaleups, venture firms, research labs, and other organizations in industries including artificial intelligence, aerospace, biotechnology, climate, defense, energy, advanced manufacturing, quantum computing, semiconductors, robotics, and more. As a member of the HAUS team, you'll have a front row seat for the future and work directly with founders building transformative technologies to help tell their story. And because HAUS is a startup too, you'll have the opportunity to shape how we operate and grow. We move fast and we're looking for builders who are deeply curious about the world, love technology, and are optimistic about the future.
About the role
HAUS is seeking a senior Brand & Narrative Strategist to join our Creative team and lead messaging and positioning work for our deep tech clients. You'll develop the narrative foundation — positioning, key messages, brand voice — that flows directly into the creative deliverables our team outputs: websites, pitch decks, sales collateral, and video storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Lead narrative and messaging development that directly feeds Creative's deliverables: positioning, brand voice, key messages, and story architecture for websites, pitch decks, and sales collateral.
- Partner directly with founders and executive teams to translate complex, technical work into language that lands with investors, customers, and talent.
- Work hand-in-hand with Creative Directors and designers from the earliest stages of a project, ensuring messaging and visual identity are built together rather than bolted on afterward.
- Develop messaging frameworks, boilerplates, taglines, and value propositions that hold up across every deliverable the Creative team produces.
- Guide clients through positioning exercises — competitive landscape, audience segmentation, differentiation — and turn that thinking into a clear point of view Creative can build from.
- Support clients through fundraising moments by shaping investor-facing narrative and messaging, especially within pitch decks.
- Review copy and messaging across Creative deliverables before they reach clients, ensuring narrative consistency and strategic rigor.
- Share narrative and positioning insights with the PR team so press strategy stays aligned with what Creative is building.
- Contribute to new business: help shape point of view for pitches and articulate why HA
