Azure Platform Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer and support mission workloads in Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity services (Azure AD/Entra ID), and resource policies.
• Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, including host pools, session hosts, and application delivery.
• Assist with implementation of Azure security controls such as identity governance, conditional access, RBAC, policy enforcement, and general cloud hygiene.
• Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for consistent platform use.
• Continuously learn and adopt new Azure cloud technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability/willingness to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of cloud administration experience, preferably in Azure.
• Familiarity with container platforms, Azure Kubernetes.
• Current Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104) certification, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Security+ or other DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multi‑tasking skills.
• Ability to thrive as part of a small, fast‑moving team.
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and innovation skills.
