Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration from legacy Jenkins and ADO pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Analyze and refactor existing Jenkins jobs and YAML-based ADO pipelines to fit modern GitHub workflows.
- Build reusable GitHub Actions and composite workflows to standardize builds, tests, and deployments across multiple repositories.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for microservices, APIs, and frontend applications using GitHub, ADO, and Jenkins (as needed for legacy support).
- Manage pipeline triggers, environment variables, approval gates, and deployment strategies (canary, blue-green, etc.).
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles.
- Deep expertise with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Proven experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from legacy platforms (e.g., Jenkins/ADO) to GitHub.
- Strong Scripting Skills (Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Python Preferred).
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally in Agile/Scrum teams.
