About the role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will provide excellent customer service by handling incoming customer calls, solving problems, entering orders, and completing follow-up procedures. You will maximize customer contact by converting product inquiries into orders, suggesting accessories or replacement items, and writing bids and quotations with appropriate follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls, solve problems, enter orders, and complete follow-up procedures
• Maximize customer contact on the phone by turning product inquiries into orders and suggesting accessories or replacement items
• Write bids and quotations when appropriate and perform follow-up procedures
• Document all customer contact and sales activities in the ACS system
• Communicate with Outside Sales to ensure excellent account management and customer service for new and existing customers
• Support Outside Sales in implementing sales and marketing plans
• Keep current on Ryan Herco Flow Solutions products
• Attend product and sales training meetings as required
• Update and maintain database

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven sales and/or customer service experience
• Ability to address customer concerns, demonstrate empathy, and consistently move the customer toward commitment
• Excellent people skills; interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts
• Persuasive, amiable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Must be able to type 40 WPM
