AZ Certified Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver to join our team at Highgate Senior Living. This position offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of over 700 seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on and stand-by assistance to residents
• Support residents in activities of daily living
• Offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure resident well-being

Requirements

• Current Certified Caregiver license
• Positive and self-motivated attitude
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Experience working with different types of people with varying ability levels
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs of older adults
• Understanding of dementia and its effects on residents

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Current negative TB test
• Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
• Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance
• Pass criminal record/background check
• Good time management skills
• Ability to work independently with little oversight
• Track record of top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $23.50/hour. Being vaccinated against COVID-19 is preferred.
