About the role

TTEC Digital is seeking an AWS Team Lead, Development, to join our AWS Partner Practice. This is a remote role based in the United States. The TTEC Digital AWS Partner Practice comprises over 150 technical experts, has received numerous best-in-class awards from AWS, and was the first Amazon Connect partner globally. The practice has delivered over 500 AWS customer launches, improving the customer experience for more than 3.5 million conversations.

As the AWS Team Lead, Development, you will provide vision, execution, and direction to implement strategies, processes, and technologies that deliver best-in-class customer experience. Our AWS Practice teams function as autonomous units working with multiple clients. Developer teams consist of three to four developers, including the team lead and a project manager. The Team Lead works with the PM to perform detailed discovery and plan sprints alongside the client’s product owners. While teams operate as equals, the lead has final responsibility for technical decisions and must handle professional conflict productively.

Reporting to the Technology Manager, you will contribute to Best Practice Documentation and stay current on AWS innovations and industry trends to ensure our solutions deliver faster, higher quality, and better performance for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead morning meetings with internal teams and clients
  • Conduct requirements analysis and design conversations for new projects
  • Work on issues in Jira, building systems and creating CloudFormation/Serverless templates to deploy resources
  • Mentor junior team members with code and teamwork challenges
  • Study new AWS services, tools, or languages to address project needs
  • Contribute to Best Practice Documentation within the organization
  • Stay current on the latest AWS services and development best practices

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, Redshift, and VPC/Network configurations
  • 10+ years of development experience with a recent focus on Node.js/Typescript and AWS services
  • Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum
  • Ability to mentor junior team members constructively, fostering growth and strengthening team relationships
  • Strong problem-solving approach: seeks to understand before prescribing solutions
  • Passion for technology and staying updated on the latest AWS services and development best practices
