About the role
AWS is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager for selling to Strategic ISVs and expanding the business with our hottest ISV customers. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for setting a long-term strategy and executing daily to grow customers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain broad relationships, develop and manage opportunities, and facilitate a large team of extended resources.
- Team with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C-level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales.
- Implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
- Collaborate with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests and advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
- Support new service adoption and new line of business development, including dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of technology sales experience selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services.
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations.
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent.
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
