AWS Python Full Stack Developer
About the role
CGI is seeking a AWS Python Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of modern cloud-based applications within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role will be responsible for building scalable backend services, developing user facing applications, creating and maintaining APIs, and working with AWS native technologies to support data-driven solutions.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on full stack application development, cloud technologies, and API driven solutions
- Strong full stack development experience with Python and modern web technologies
- Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
- Advanced SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing database solutions
- Experience working within AWS environments, including services such as RDS, ECS, Glue, and Step Functions
- Understanding of cloud native application architecture and deployment practices
- Experience integrating data processing and workflow orchestration solutions
- Familiarity with vector databases or PG Vector is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities in a fast-moving delivery environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders

- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $150,800.00.
