AWS Full Stack Developer
About the role
As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. This role is more than just coding. You’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with UI and UX, including with a front-end framework such as React
- 5+ years of experience with back-end development, including with back-end languages such as Java, Python, GO, SQL, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise application development
- 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration
- Experience developing and deploying production applications from concept to Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS, and container orchestration
- 3+ years of experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- Experience with database administration and optimization, including MongoDB
- Experience with serverless architecture such as API Gateway
- Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
- Experience developing Geospatial UIs, implementing DevOps mechanisms for projects, and designing and implementing UI for artificial intelligence or machine learning applications
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification
- IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification

Pay
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:
- Remote: Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
- Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with expectations aligned to leadership and role needs. Visits to customer facilities may also be required.
- Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
