AWS Engineer (US)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Linux, infrastructure automation, networking, and cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based cloud environments.
• Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Implement cloud security, access controls, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.
• Maintain system performance, availability, reliability, and costs.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and architects.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional Cloud/AWS engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, and compute services.
• Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with Git and cloud automation practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator are a plus.
