About the role
We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Linux, infrastructure automation, networking, and cloud operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based cloud environments.
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
- Implement cloud security, access controls, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational processes.
- Maintain system performance, availability, reliability, and costs.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and production issues.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, security teams, and architects.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 2–7 years of professional Cloud/AWS engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security, and compute services.
- Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Git and cloud automation practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
- Knowledge of serverless technologies and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS monitoring and logging tools.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud security best practices.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator are a plus.
