AWS Engineer

About the role

Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure for government clients. Work with government leads and Product Owners to define technical requirements and release timing. Architect and implement AWS solutions using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and operational visibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, preferably for federal or public sector clients.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and identity/access management in regulated environments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to client mandates.
