About the role

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This role requires being onsite 3+ days per week with the client in Pennington, NJ, or Charlotte, NC.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and provide solutions to problems within and across teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of innovative software features that align with project goals and client requirements.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize development processes and code quality.
• Mentor and guide colleagues to foster knowledge sharing and elevate team capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in custom software development.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Expert proficiency in Custom Application Development, Software Design Solutions, and Software Engineering.

Pay

Compensation varies by location. Hourly salary ranges for this role are as follows:

• California: $62.00 to $72.00
• Cleveland: $62.00 to $72.00
• Colorado: $62.00 to $72.00

• Illinois: $62.00 to $72.00
• Maine: $62.00 to $72.00
