About the role
Join our team focused on transforming education alongside the most prominent companies in Education Technology. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with the AWS Strategic Account Lead to drive growth and innovation with our most strategic EdTech customers.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the AWS Strategic Account Lead and with a highly matrixed account and partner teams in establishing new customer relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
- Create and execute against a comprehensive account plan. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Accelerate customer adoption of new AWS services and workload migrations.
- Maintain a robust and hygienic sales pipeline.
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Willing to travel 25%+ to customer locations across the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience (technical or educational) in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
Skills
- Strong bias for action.
- Customer obsession.
- Track record of consistently delivering results.
- Both a sales and technical background enabling trust at the CXO level, various business stakeholders (Product, Finance, etc.), software developers, engineers, and IT architects.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $92,400.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually.
