Responsibilities
- Pursue new sales prospects and cross-sell/up-sell to select existing customers
- Achieve sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Work closely with assigned AWS sales teams and build productive relationships
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key decision-makers
- Build and maintain relationships with AWS and other market partners
- Track and report on individual leads and opportunities, as well as overall pipeline and business results
- Evaluate insights from customer interactions and prepare a compelling business case
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products to educate customers on nuances and specifics
- Delegate customer needs and issues to the appropriate team within Mission Cloud
- Prioritize high-profile and high-potential accounts based on size, volume, usage, and potential for upselling opportunities
- Create client proposals and manage contract creation and negotiations
- Engage support from management on larger and more strategic deals
- Collaborate with Cloud Advisors on prospecting campaigns
Requirements
- Ability to work in a technology-related sales or business development role
- Ability to work in a consultative selling of professional and/or managed services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with C-suite executives
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification to be achieved within first 30 days of employment at Mission Cloud
- Ability and willingness to manage 40% or more travel
- Knowledge of engineering, computer science, or MIS and ability to work with cloud computing services (a plus)
About the Role
This position is 100% remote with 40% or more travel.
Placement
The compensation range for the base salary of this role is: $110,000 - $137,183
