About the role

Join our team at Lichtung - Fachberatungsstelle gegen sexualisierte Gewalt as a parental leave substitute starting May 1, 2026, with 15–20 hours per week. Primary workplace: Halle (Saale).

Responsibilities

• Counseling for survivors of sexualized violence
• Counseling for family members and professional caregivers
• Planning and conducting training and prevention events for various target groups
• Participation in working groups and committees against (sexualized) violence
• Supporting the further expansion of specialized counseling in rural areas

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work, Education, or a comparable field
• Competencies, knowledge, and/or experience in the areas of “sexualized violence” and “trauma”
• Clear positions on the topics of sexualized and structural violence, gender sensitivity, and transcultural competence
• Teamwork, self-responsibility, good psychological hygiene, resilience, and commitment
• Experience in child protection cases according to §8a SGB VIII (desirable)
• Driver’s license class B

Schedule
