About the role

We are seeking an engaged and responsible Medical Director to lead our specialized clinic for venous diseases in Bad Bertrich. This role focuses on high-quality patient care, streamlined decision-making, and a collaborative work environment. You will play a key role in the medical and strategic development of our clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Medical, professional, and organizational leadership of the specialized clinic for venous diseases
  • Ensuring high-quality inpatient and outpatient patient care, including personal patient treatment
  • Professional responsibility for the diagnosis and therapy of venous diseases, including outpatient surgical and minimally invasive procedures
  • Implementation and further development of phlebological treatment and therapy concepts
  • Organization and management of the medical team
  • Leadership, mentoring, and professional development of the medical team
  • Ensuring high medical quality standards and continuous advancement of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures based on current scientific knowledge
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments within the clinic and external partners
  • Expansion and maintenance of a robust network with local physicians and referrers
  • Representation of the clinic through lectures, training events, and patient information sessions
  • Contribution to the strategic and economic development of the clinic

Requirements

  • Board certification as a Specialist in General Surgery (m/f/d) with German medical license and/or additional certification as a Specialist in Vascular Surgery (m/f/d)
  • Preferably additional training in phlebology
  • Several years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of venous diseases, including surgical procedures
  • Strong leadership and social skills, with experience in leading and developing teams
  • High level of patient orientation, responsibility, and economic thinking
  • Interest in advancing medical concepts, processes, and quality standards
