AVP, Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We're seeking a Project Manager to join our client's Iselin, NJ team who has experience leading technology-focused projects, a strong understanding of the SDLC, and extensive in-house banking experience. This person will oversee project budgets and forecasts. Experience with FX trading, settlement or processes experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and governance structures to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead project execution activities, including status meetings, progress tracking, milestone management, and stakeholder reporting.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and issues while driving timely resolution and minimizing project impacts.
• Create and maintain project documentation, process maps, and reporting artifacts while ensuring adherence to SDLC standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience within technology, financial services, or banking environments.
• Hands-on experience managing projects through the SDLC using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, resource forecasting, financial tracking, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working across multiple teams and time zones.
