Job Summary and Qualifications

The AVP Sourcing is responsible for developing, executing and implementing the Core GPO or Medical Device contracting efforts related to a major segment of the national portfolio. This individual must develop and execute innovative industry leading cost-savings strategies that deliver significant and measurable financial and operational value to members through the assigned portfolio. This individual must enhance the value of the existing portfolio and expand it to be the most comprehensive portfolio in the industry.

Major Responsibilities

• Maintain various aspects of the Sourcing operations, including financial and budgetary considerations, revenue, customer relationships, and leadership communication.
• Develop and execute operational plans and strategies.
• Ensure business functions support and contribute to Core GPO overall performance.
• Lead all aspects of communications, including both internal and external customers.
• Manage initiatives and teams in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, delivering projects to completion.
• Exceed contracting goals established in annual contracting work plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7-10 years of related healthcare or industry experience, preferred.
• Hospital Operations or Healthcare Sourcing, preferred.
• Occasional travel required, not on a routine basis.
