About the role

The AVP, Pre Access provides enterprise-wide strategic leadership for all front-end, acute, revenue cycle operations, including acute centralized scheduling and EPIC operations. This highly strategic role oversees multiple cost centers and sets long-term objectives to optimize patient experience, enhance operational efficiency, and drive financial performance.

  • Budget Management: Ensures associates are aware and compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Business Travel: May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years of Front-end Revenue Cycle, Patient Access or Pre Access experience in an acute environment
  • Deep knowledge of EPIC build, functionality and relevant roadmap
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI, success in translating AI into Business outcomes, and the ability to move teams from experimentation to scale
  • Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to project confidence, credibility and authority; able to remain calm & show decisiveness under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience implementing strategic initiatives including alignment of company goals and vision with operational execution
  • Financial and project management experience required
  • Ability to effectively lead diverse teams and influence change management
  • Effective communication skills with ability to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas
  • Demonstrated use of KPIs to drive and track team performance

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment

Pay

This position pays between $111,800 - $155,000 based on experience and is eligible for annual incentives.

Schedule

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs dictate.
