AVP of Revenue Cycle

We are looking for an accomplished revenue cycle executive to lead financial and operational performance across behavioral health and related service lines in Worcester, MA area. This role oversees the full revenue cycle, including billing, accounts receivable, denial resolution, payment posting, collections, and reimbursement outcomes, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and cash flow improvement. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on leadership style, strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, and the ability to turn complex revenue data into clear business recommendations for senior leadership. Responsibilities:• Direct revenue cycle operations across inpatient psychiatric, outpatient behavioral health, substance use disorder, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization services to support strong financial results.• Oversee billing, payment posting, collections, accounts receivable follow-up, denial prevention, and reimbursement activities to improve cash collections and reduce outstanding balances.• Evaluate aging trends, unbilled accounts, denials, and payment variances to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.• Partner with clinical, intake, utilization management, and operational leaders to resolve issues that affect claim accuracy, reimbursement timing, and overall cash flow.• Present revenue cycle performance, financial risks, and recovery opportunities to executive leadership with clear analysis and practical recommendations.• Establish performance expectations for revenue cycle staff, provide coaching and mentorship, and build accountability across the team.• Monitor payer behavior and reimbursement patterns across commercial and government programs to support accurate and timely payment.• Develop and maintain reporting processes that track key revenue cycle indicators, highlight root causes of underperformance, and guide operational improvements.• Escalate significant compliance, reimbursement, operational, or financial concerns promptly and support resolution planning.• Lead revenue cycle process improvements, including changes related to systems or workflow transitions when needed, while maintaining continuity in billing and collections performance. **FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION PLEASE CALL ME DIRECTLY AND BE READY PLEASE WITH YOU RESUME FOR REVIEW.
