About the role

Barclays Capital Inc. seeks AVP, Global Markets in New York, NY (multiple positions available).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business.
• Develop, maintain and grow relationships with clients and achieve revenue targets; understand their financial needs and objectives.
• Present and pitch of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
• Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
• Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
• Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
• Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalize sales transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial markets or related field.
• Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Ability to present and pitch financial products and services effectively.
• Knowledge of market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
• Experience collaborating with research analysts and other teams.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
