About the role
Barclays Capital Inc. seeks AVP, Global Markets in New York, NY (multiple positions available).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business.
- Develop, maintain and grow relationships with clients and achieve revenue targets; understand their financial needs and objectives.
- Present and pitch of financial products and services to clients, tailored to their requirements.
- Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of client requests.
- Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
- Collaboration with research analysts and other teams to provide clients with insights and market updates.
- Negotiation of terms and agreements with clients to finalize sales transactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial markets or related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Ability to present and pitch financial products and services effectively.
- Knowledge of market trends, financial products, and industry regulations.
- Experience collaborating with research analysts and other teams.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
