The role combines strategic vision with operational leadership, ensuring that efforts are cohesive, effective, and aligned with institutional priorities.
The AVP for Global Engagement is responsible for advancing a comprehensive institutional strategy for internationalization, leading the strategy, operations, and performance of the UK International Center, serving as the university’s principal advisor on global engagement, and integrating internationalization into student success, enrollment strategy, and institutional impact. The AVP will act as both a strategic architect and operational leader, ensuring that global engagement efforts are aligned, effective, and sustainable.

Preferred Education/Experience
- An advanced degree
- At least ten years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in student services management or a closely aligned field
- Experience in a comprehensive university with an international student population
- A doctorate or other terminal degree preferred
- A demonstrated commitment to student success
- Significant experience allocating and managing resources and supervising staff
