AVP, Economic Reporting & Analysis

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a AVP Economic Reporting & Analysis to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual economic value reporting and analysis
• Analyze economic value results and investigate significant movements and assumptions
• Partner with teams to ensure alignment of economic reporting methodologies
• Support governance processes around economic value metrics and standards
• Prepare management reporting packages and executive presentations
• Define strategic transformation initiatives for economic reporting modernization
• Drive automation efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in financial reporting or related functions
• Strong understanding of insurance financial statements and economic value frameworks
• Experience with actuarial, finance, and enterprise risk management teams
• Demonstrated leadership in finance or reporting transformation initiatives
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay

$230,000 – $250,000 annually
