AVP, Client Implementation

About the Role

This is a remote role, with occasional requests to come to the office based on business need. The role is accountable for end-to-end client onboarding for Life, Absence, and Disability Solutions, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end client onboarding for Life, Absence, and Disability Solutions, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery.
• Establishes and sustains strong relationships with customers, brokers, and key partners, serving as a trusted advisor and linking client needs to current and future offerings.
• Partners with executive leadership to anticipate demand and priorities; collaborate with Sales to identify growth opportunities, including upsell, cross-sell, and re-enrollment strategies.
• Leads the development and enforcement of implementation strategies, standards, and best practices to meet customer and business needs.
• Analyzes customer preferences and market insights, including competitor activity, to inform strategic decisions.
• Drives innovation in implementation management, leveraging technology to enhance processes and enable scalable solutions.
• Promotes a high standard of customer experience, demonstrating empathy, anticipating needs, and building trust with claimants, employers, and brokers.
• Fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment, maintaining professionalism, integrity, and strong team morale.
• Accountable for financial performance, including delivery against budget, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Build and develop a high-performing team; oversees workload distribution, performance management, and employee development.
• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations and manages employee relations in alignment with company policy.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field; 10 years' experience in managing key/strategic relationships; 5 years management experience; experience in customer implementation, project management in the disability industry. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: In-depth knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems.
• Expertise in Life, Disability, and Absence management products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced, deadline driven environments.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving business outcomes and influencing across the organization.
• Executive presence with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders.
• Builds trust and alignment with internal and external stakeholders; effectively gains commitment and drives collaboration.
• Advanced communication skills, with experience presenting, influencing, and negotiating at senior levels.
• Strong customer relationship management acumen, with a focus on long-term partnership and value delivery.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and related processes.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional travel with limited advance notice.

Pay

Salary range: $160,000 - $210,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors including education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range to allow for future and continued salary growth.
