AVP, Claims Strategy and Process Innovation - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a AVP, Claims Strategy and Process Innovation - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape claims strategy, process modernization, and operational excellence for a complex benefits and leave administration environment. You will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, technology, and analytics teams to translate business needs into scalable operating models and measurable performance improvements. The position also serves as a key business lead on major claims system initiatives, with a focus on efficiency, quality, automation, and future-state design. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $141,600 – $236,000 annually Responsibilities Lead strategy and roadmap for claims transformation and operational excellence Partner across teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency and quality Serve as the business lead for major claims system initiatives and technology modernization efforts Drive process improvements and automation to simplify operations Translate business needs into future-state operating models and technology solutions Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure performance Influence strategic decisions through collaboration with executive leadership Qualifications 15+ years of leadership experience in disability, absence management, or claims operations 10+ years of experience with claims platforms Deep expertise in disability and leave administration Experience leading operational transformations and technology modernization Skilled in leveraging data and analytics to drive performance Knowledge of relevant regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and ERISA Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Benefits Flexible full-time or hybrid telecommuting arrangements 401(k) plan with immediate vesting and company matching up to 6% Paid time away, including vacation, sick days, and ten paid holidays Company matching for community contributions Access to a comprehensive benefits overview Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
