About the role
Take charge of our day-to-day operations, ensuring flight and product efficiency. Implement the right processes and practices across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex avionics system issues, including communication, navigation, surveillance, cabin management, and flight control systems.
- Interpret and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and STC instructions to isolate faults and determine corrective actions.
- Perform on-aircraft troubleshooting, functional checks, and system-level testing on corporate aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and other departments to resolve unique system discrepancies or modification challenges.
- Repair or replace defective wiring, components, LRUs, connectors, or antennas to restore full operational capability.
- Utilize OEM manuals, IPCs, AMMs, and FAA guidance to ensure repairs and alterations are in full regulatory compliance.
- Assist with ramp service troubleshooting events and support AOG response efforts as needed.
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and StandardAero’s quality standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, cleanliness, and FOD prevention practices on the hangar floor.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Avionics experience—with a strong focus on troubleshooting and service/repair (not just installation).
- Experience troubleshooting avionics systems on Falcon, Challenger, Gulfstream, Hawker, Embraer, or other corporate/business aircraft platforms.
- Maintenance experience with cabin connectivity systems and avionics products such as Starlink, GoGo, SmartSky, Rockwell Collins, or Honeywell.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship.
Preferred Characteristics
- FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) and/or FAA A&P License.
- In-depth knowledge of both electrical and electronic principles, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and system layouts.
- Working knowledge of bonding and grounding techniques, continuity testing, and aircraft power systems.
- Prior exposure to maintenance tracking programs, STC packages, and engineering documentation.

Position Requirements
