About the role
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the schedule and priorities of design work for various spaceflight systems.
- Share in the team’s impact on all aspects of the avionics overall strategy.
- Manage the project schedule, work breakdown, and cost.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the program to define avionics requirements and their dependencies on other spacecraft systems for reusable, reliable, and safe human space flight.
- Create project management plans, and support the avionics harnessing team with other guiding artifacts, including architecture design descriptions and verification plans.
- Present status, risks, variances, and recovery plans to program management.
- Track technical performance measures to support the development team in meeting defined performance goals.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Experience with Primavera (P6), or other Project Management tools.
- Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and Cost Account Management such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Strong technical background in a relevant area of avionics hardware development (e.g., harness/EWIS design, electrical interconnect, connector engineering, or wire harness manufacturing).
- Experience managing development projects, including requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.

Pay
Base Pay Range For WA applicants is $130,706.00 - $182,987.70 Other Site Ranges May Differ
