About the Role
We are seeking a Navigation Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and verification of advanced navigation solutions for aerospace systems. Define and evolve navigation architectures such as GNSS, INS, and sensor fusion techniques.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, suppliers, and program management to ensure technical alignment with program goals. Capture, trace, and verify system requirements using tools like DOORS, ensuring compliance with standards like MIL STD. Contribute to system design, requirements development, and ensure architectures meet customer and safety needs. Identify, analyze, and resolve software and system-level defects to maintain mission readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of advanced navigation solutions for aerospace systems.
- Define and evolve navigation architectures such as GNSS, INS, and sensor fusion techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software, suppliers, and program management.
- Capture, trace, and verify system requirements using tools like DOORS, ensuring compliance with standards like MIL STD.
- Contribute to system design and requirements development to meet customer and safety needs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software and system-level defects to maintain mission readiness.
Requirements
- Experience with navigation systems (e.g., GPS, RNP/RNAV, Radio Nav) and systems engineering processes (architecture, requirements, verification).
- Hardware/software integration and testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
