Avionics Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of avionics technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repair and modification activities in accordance with OEM manuals and FAA regulations.
• Plan workloads and allocate resources to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Ensure full compliance with Part 145 requirements, company procedures and quality management systems.
• Support training, mentoring and performance development across the avionics team.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Planning teams to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Extensive avionics maintenance experience within a Part 145 MRO environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing avionics personnel.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems, fault diagnosis and testing.
• Good understanding of FAA regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
• FAA A&P Certificate or FCC Licence would be advantageous.
