Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of avionics technicians, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, repair and modification activities in accordance with OEM manuals and FAA regulations.
- Plan workloads and allocate resources to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure full compliance with Part 145 requirements, company procedures and quality management systems.
- Support training, mentoring and performance development across the avionics team.
- Work closely with Production, Quality and Planning teams to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Extensive avionics maintenance experience within a Part 145 MRO environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing avionics personnel.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems, fault diagnosis and testing.
- Good understanding of FAA regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
- FAA A&P Certificate or FCC Licence would be advantageous.
