With oversight create deliverables to support Bombardier new aircraft designs or modifications to avionics systems (preferred)System schematicsSupplier requirement documentsSystem descriptionsInterface control documentsWiring diagramsCertification plans to FAA, TCCA and EASA standardsIssue papersFunctional test requirements or test plansTest reportsDesign compliance reportsReview installation drawings, qualification test data and reports (preferred)Decompose internal or external customer statements of work into detailed requirements (preferred)Analyze ground and flight test data to verify system performance and functionality (preferred)Research specifications for components selections (preferred)Support change management through research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementation (preferred)Work with suppliers and internal customers to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve aircraft build or test issues (preferred)Support internal and external design reviews and program governance sessions (preferred)Show compliance to 14CFR Part 25 FAA, TCCA, and EASA certification requirements (preferred) How to thrive in this role? You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringPrevious experience of supporting aircraft ground, flight, and functional testing (preferred)You have a working knowledge of avionics systems basic principles (preferred)You must have an awareness of FAA & EASA Part 25 certification requirements (preferred)You must have an awareness of RTCA documents DO-178 and DO-160 (preferred)You must have the ability to interpret software documentation including logic diagrams related to avionics systems (preferred)You must have experience with utilizing ARINC data to isolate faults related to system controls software (preferred)You will demonstrate good teamwork and English communication skills, both oral and written, and be PC literate (preferred)You will demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, management, and suppliers (preferred)You must be self-motivated, able to coordinate multiple activities and manage time effectively (preferred)You must be authorized to work in the US (preferred) Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!
