Required Documents
- Valid, unexpired Flight Instructor Certificate with single and multi-engine airplane and instrument airplane ratings
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate or Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument airplane rating
- Valid second-class FAA medical certificate
- Most recent SF-50 (Notification of Personnel Action) verifying current position, title, series, grade, tenure, and organization of record
- If you are an FAA employee, an SF-50 containing information in Blocks 15, 17, 18, 19, 22, and 24
If you are relying on education to meet qualification requirements, the institution must be accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Assessments
Applicants may be required to complete one or multiple assessments as part of the evaluation process to evaluate competencies and qualifications essential for the position.
