Aviation Programs Engineer/Manager 2

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Aviation Programs Engineer/Manager 2 onsite at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting successful conception, development, and/or application of sophisticated avionics systems including creation of technical system proposals and related documentation, identifying and documenting technical scope of change, and ensuring system compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support OEM customer inquiries and ensures effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Garmin Integrated Flight Decks, Garmin aviation products, or sub-systems
• Develop solid working knowledge of standard department processes and tools while demonstrating application throughout all program life cycles
• Lead creation of various presentation materials to inform internal stakeholders of relevant program progress or issues with minimal direction or oversight,
• Lead evaluation and execution of technical program requirements or customer inquiries with some
