Required Qualifications
- FAA airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic certificates.
- Five years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145.
- E; a bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one;
- As well as excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching/training experience.
- Five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: Aviation Mathematics, Physics, Weight and Balance or powerplant fuel systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Instruct courses that may include the following topics: Aircraft Fluid Power Systems, Airframe Fuel, Water, and Waste Systems, Turbine Engines and Accessory Systems and Airframe Systems and Inspections.
- Student advising is also a key responsibility.
