Role Overview
The manufacturing team member performs advanced operations related to aircraft engine handling, assembly, inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead associate training and support engine kitting and hardware storage
- Assist in nonconforming product disposition and document technical data
- Perform visual and quality checks to ensure product traceability
- Conduct hands-on engine assembly and repair activities at a high skill level
Qualifications & Skills
- High school Diploma or GED, FAA Powerplant Maintenance License
- 6+ years in aviation manufacturing/maintenance; jet engine experience preferred
- Proficiency in assembly, inspection, testing, inventory control, and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety standards, FAA regulations, MES/ERP systems, and inspection techniques
- Ability to work with hand tools, perform diagnostics, and maintain organized work areas
