Aviation Design Manager

About the role

Garver is seeking an experienced Aviation Design Manager to join our dynamic team. With over 60 years of experience, we specialize in airport design and infrastructure projects, focusing on both commercial and general aviation. This role involves developing conceptual designs for marketing pursuits and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to produce technical reports and detailed project approaches.

Responsibilities

• Project Management of conceptual designs for proposals
• Collaborate with technicians and technical writers to support deliverables
• Create and collaborate on airport designs
• Work with Project Managers and Engineers to incorporate appropriate levels of detail in each deliverable
• Participate in project progress meetings

Requirements

• Experience with aviation design for both commercial and general aviation airports
• Ability to provide outstanding service to internal clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in aviation design
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Pay

$108,600 to $165,800 (salary range considers differences in incentive compensation commensurate with qualifications, experience, and performance)
