Responsibilities

  • Create an impact by handling claims across all sub-classes of NA Aerospace, with a focus on light aviation and general aviation claims.
  • Manage and adjust first-party and third-party aircraft physical damage claims.
  • Identify loss trends and risk management opportunities and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage and adjust aerospace claims, including aircraft damage claims.
  • Work independently, efficiently, and consistently in support of the client-centric NA Aerospace claim proposition.
  • Manage and minimize the total cost of aerospace claims.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and brokers.
  • Communicate technical issues and problem-solve effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop computer proficiency with an aptitude for claims systems.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong technical Aerospace claim capability to manage and adjust AIG’s NA Aerospace light aviation and general aviation claims.
  • Expertise in managing and minimizing the total cost of aerospace claims.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and brokers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and problem-solve.
  • Developed computer proficiency with an aptitude for claims systems.
  • Self-motivated, able to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Claims Adjuster with a demonstrated ability to work independently, efficiently, and consistently in support of the client-centric NA Aerospace claim proposition.
  • Proven track record of identifying and reporting claim trends, lessons learned, and risk management opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Effective management and adjustment of vendors, including attorneys and experts, to minimize the total cost of aerospace claims.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $73,000-$97,000, with the possibility of a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Your actual compensation will be dependent on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
