Aviation Civil Engineer (EIT)

About the role

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a full-time Aviation Civil Engineer (EIT) in the Florida, Illinois and Missouri regions.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and utilize design software to support aviation and civil site projects
• Obtain permitting, collect existing physical data, and support planning and design tasks
• Aid with site investigations, field reconnaissance, utility locations, and permit application processes
• Support construction document preparation, contractor pricing assistance, and project close-out documentation
• Collaborate with senior technical staff
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field (required)
• FE/EIT certification desirable or scheduled prior to graduation
• 0–3 years of aviation project experience

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: CAD experience and/or willingness to learn AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, build effective relationships, communicate orally and write technically, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and initiative to meet deadlines
