About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading private duty nursing company that provides compassionate care to patients in their homes. This position involves caring for teenagers who require high acuity care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to teenagers requiring high acuity care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.
• Document patient care in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring patient responses.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay

$23.00 - $32.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm (flexible on hours and days).
