Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse LPN - Trach/Vent Teen (Overnights)

About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) to join our team in Milton, Florida. We offer flexible schedules including Monday-Sunday, Thursday-Sunday, and Friday-Sunday with additional Saturday-Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
• Must have a current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months).
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
