About the role
You are a trustworthy individual who is hungry to learn and grow. You enjoy hands-on work in the field rather than being behind a desk and are technically inclined with a curiosity for how things work.
Projects are located in the surrounding area, and you must be able to commute between Philadelphia and NYC.
Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding of networks
- Advanced troubleshooting of devices
- Programming (Lutron, Control4, Savant, Crestron)
Requirements
- Experience on construction sites
- Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power tools & hand tools
- Steady work history (3 years between job changes)
- Pleasant disposition and high emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Lutron Homeworks Certified or equivalent (Crestron/Control4 panelized lighting experience)
- Control system programming experience (Savant preferred, Control4, Crestron)
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday, with shifts between 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus travel as required.
Pay
$35.00–$48.00 per hour, plus $100 per night for overnight travel.
