About the role
You are a trustworthy individual who is hungry to learn and grow. You enjoy hands-on work in the field, are technically inclined, and always curious about how things work. You have experience on construction sites and the ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power tools and hand tools. You have a steady work history (3+ years between job changes) and a pleasant, high-EQ disposition.
Projects are located in the surrounding area, and you must be able to commute between Philadelphia and NYC.
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday, with shifts either 8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM, plus travel time as required.
Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron)
- Mount devices at the ends of those wires
- Build and lace equipment racks
- Advanced setup and configuration of devices
- Advanced understanding and troubleshooting of networks
- Programming (Lutron, Control4, Savant, Crestron)
Requirements
- Lutron Homeworks Certified or equivalent (Crestron/Control4 panelized lighting experience)
- Control system programming experience (Savant preferred, Control4, Crestron)
Pay
$35.00–$48.00 per hour, plus $100 per night for overnight travel.
