The AV Technician & Helpdesk Support Specialist will combine hands-on audiovisual expertise with remote technical support to ensure seamless experiences across live events and digital environments. This role involves setting up, testing, operating, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment during live events and conferences, providing onsite technical assistance, delivering professional customer service, and managing user support activities.

About the role

  • Maintain high-quality technical support across live events and remote operations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, customer service abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Work across multiple technologies, balancing onsite event support with remote helpdesk responsibilities.
  • Exposure to dynamic event settings, cross-functional collaboration, and diverse technical environments.
  • Key role in ensuring smooth operations for both internal teams and event participants.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AV Technician, Helpdesk Support Specialist, or in a similar technical support role.
  • High school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professionalism.
  • Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and user access issues.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud, including site configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately once per month.
