AV Technician Full Time Only

About the role

Streamline is seeking a reliable IT Technician to complete daily tasks in a professional manner. We service local businesses and yachts located around the world. While experience in the marine industry is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Remote IT support (LogMeIn, TeamViewer)
• Networking (Cisco & non-Cisco, Ubiquiti, VLAN configuration, Kerio, Peplink, Ruckus)
• Cable terminations and Ethernet terminations
• Patch panel termination and rack wiring
• Microsoft server domains, Active Directory, and Exchange Servers
• PC and Apple tech support
• QuickBooks support
• Running wires in tight spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops
• Support for Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and/or working with the public
• Strong communication skills
• General knowledge of electronics equipment and basic power hand tools
• Must be able to pass drug test and background test
• Clean and neat appearance
• Punctual and reliable
• Comfortable working in tight spaces, heights, and various weather conditions
• Able to work early or late hours and weekends if needed
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to travel in and out of the country

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work on ladders while lifting heavy objects
• Work in attics, crawlspaces, cabinets, closets, rooftops, and in various weather conditions
• Involves standing, crawling, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, twisting, pulling, balance, ladder climbing, manual dexterity, and visual acuity

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Must be willing to work weekends and nights if needed.
