About the role
Responsible for managing AV systems in educational settings, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual equipment in classrooms and lecture halls.
- Provide technical support to faculty and staff for AV system issues.
- Perform routine checks and repairs on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with IT and facility management teams to resolve complex AV system issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in AV hardware and software, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
Skills
- Knowledge of AV standards and best practices.
- Experience with AV system integration and customization.
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and cabling.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
